Private training service

Day Training

A Day Train is a private training day for your dog. Mitchell picks your dog up at home, trains in real-world places for four or eight hours, then brings your dog home and shows you what was taught.

Fully insured professional training. No payment today—Mitchell texts first to learn about your dog.

Already training in a package?

A single Day Train can complement your private-training package—especially when you are having trouble practicing or reinforcing a skill between lessons. Mitchell can put in concentrated repetitions, then show you how to keep the progress going at home.

Why Day Training works

Professional repetition without sending your dog away.

01Consistent professional handling

Mitchell can build and reinforce skills through concentrated training blocks.

02Real-world proofing

Training moves through environments connected to your dog’s actual goals.

03The skills come home

Your dog returns after each training day, followed by owner transfer and instruction.

Multi-Day Day Train Programs

Real progress comes from repetition.

For dogs that need more than a single training day, I offer customized programs built around consistent training two to three days per week. This allows us to build new skills, reinforce them before they fade, and gradually increase difficulty across different environments.

Programs are created after an evaluation based on your dog’s goals, behavior, stamina, training history, and the amount of professional handling needed.

Training that moves through the real world.

The exact day is built around your dog. We may travel between quiet parks, busier public areas, pet-friendly stores, outdoor restaurants, homes, events, veterinary environments, malls, or other places connected to your goals.

The part board-and-train often misses

Your dog comes home. The training transfers to you.

At drop-off, I walk you through what we trained, show you how to use the skills, and coach you through the handling. You get the benefit of concentrated professional work without your dog living in a kennel for weeks.

Who this is for

Professional training without sending your dog away.

Day Trains are designed for owners who cannot spend hours traveling to lessons or doing every repetition themselves—but still want their dog home, involved in everyday life, and trained in real environments.

  • Your dog is handled by an insured professional dog trainer—not an informal pet-transport service.
  • You are short on time but want meaningful progress.
  • You do not want a traditional multi-week board-and-train.
  • Your dog needs practice in several real-world locations.
  • You want concentrated training plus a clear owner handoff.
